Entry Fees:

  • $10.00 per person (single entry)
  • $20.00 per family of 4 (single entry)
  • $5 per school age child
  • Pre-school children free; school-age children free on Friday before 4.00pm.

Access to all major attractions is free!! Limited rides on Sunday. No entry after 9pm. No pass-outs or late entry.

Exhibits:

Show associations will be exhibiting cattle, dogs, goats, homecrafts, horses, horticulture, photography and poultry amongst others. The cattle clinic and showjumping will also feature.

Amusements:

Following on from the huge success of last years' show, this year's show will again be a joint venture with the Showmen's Guild of Australasia and will provide a full range of amusements to complement the Show program.

Parking Fees:

$5.00 per vehicle (includes donation to the Lions Club).

ATMs:

ATM's will be on site at this years' Show.

Trains:

All trains to Maitland on show days will stop at High Street Station giving easy access to the Showground.

Alcohol:

No alcohol may be brought onto the Showground. Alcohol purchased onsite may only be consumed in defined areas.

HRA&HA Anniversary Book:

The 150th Anniversary Book is available at the Show Office for $50.


Entry Conditions:

  • The Showground is a privately owned facility. The Association as custodian of the Showground has rules and codes of conduct which must be adhered to.
  • Whilst on the Showground you must observe directions given by the Association's members, its contractors, security staff, medical staff and Police.
  • Prohibited items including alcohol, glass containers, dangerous implements etc cannot be brought into the Showground.
  • Antisocial behaviour of any kind will not be tolerated. For example: running/pushing/shoving; skateboards/bikes/scooters; assembled groups impeding access ways; participation in or observing fights or melees.
  • Persons reasonably suspected of being affected by alcohol or drugs will be refused entry or requested to leave the Showground.
  • All bags/backpacks must be presented for inspection at entry ways.
